The travel time to Nakuru National Park is approximately one hour and twenty minutes. Positioned on Mount Meru's slopes, Arusha boasts pleasant weather throughout the year. The city tour encompasses key attractions for leisure, learning, and shopping, including the Arusha museum, Uhuru monument, Arusha City bus terminal, Central market, and Maasai market. Arusha Museum: Gain insights into the history of Arusha during the colonialism era and post-independence (approximately 1 hour). Uhuru Monument: Stand beneath the monument symbolizing Tanzanian freedom, marking the Arusha Declaration of 1967. In the morning, after an early breakfast, descend down the 600-meter drop into the crater floor. The views from the rim are breathtaking, so take a moment to soak them in before you start your game drive. Game drive: The crater floor is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and rhinos. Your guide will take you on a game drive, stopping to point out animals and sharing interesting facts about the crater and its inhabitants. Later, ascend from the crater and drive to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
